This interactive workshop addresses the management of employee discipline, which has a tremendous impact on an organization and if not properly managed it can negatively impact profitability and cost, employee morale, team coordination, productivity and an organizations competitiveness. Participants will be engaged in understanding what gives rise to disciplinary issues and how they can be managed.

At the end of this workshop participants shall;
 Understand the role and responsibility of management in the disciplinary process.
 Understand what governs employee behaviour and conduct in the workplace and what
gives rise to disciplinary action.
 Understand disciplinary procedures
 Understand and be able to effectively follow the progressive disciplinary process
 Be able to apply effective sanctions to address disciplinary issues
 Understand the standards by which decisions are assessed
 Understand the role of the Trade Union and its representatives and the purpose of conciliation meetings
 Understand the principles which govern the convening and conduct of a disciplinary hearing
 Understand the role of Ministry of Labour and the Industrial Court in the dispute resolution process
